Our story

A mutual friend was planning a party. Jon checked the attendee list on Facebook, and immediately approached her with Elizabeth’s photo pulled up. “Who is this, please?”

We finally met when the timing was right, and things unfolded naturally from there. It didn’t take long for us to realize we were in love, and marriage quickly became a matter of when, not if.

(She asked. He said yes.)

We eloped in a small ceremony on October 30th of 2020, and we are so happy to finally be celebrating with our loved ones.

Elizabeth Aronoff

Elizabeth is a Behavioral Science major at Wilmington University, and she is probably going to pursue a graduate degree of some kind next. Her interests include psychology and sociology.

She loves curling up with a good book and our cat Milo, or going for a walk with our dog Tormund. As of 2023, she has worked for Disney for 6 years. She has always been a nerd.

Jon Maguire

Jon has a bachelor’s degree in Video Game Art and Design, and his interests include cybersecurity, technology, and almost every medium of art.

Jon has always been goth. When he was little, his favorite Disney character was Chernabog. He likes animals better than people, and will probably go out trying to fulfill his life’s highest ambition; to hug a bear. (Or tiger.)

Parking

Complimentary self-parking is available to our guests across the street from the Grand Californian Hotel entrance.

Guests can navigate to 1639 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim CA 92802.

At the light, follow signage towards the Paradise Pier for self-parking and inform the parking attendant that you are here for the Aronoff-Maguire wedding. Once parked, cross at the light and walk directly to the Grand Californian Hotel.

Guests who would prefer to valet may do so at an additional cost. Simply follow signage for the Grand Californian and meet a parking attendant at the porte cochère.

Accommodations

While accommodations at the Grand Californian Hotel are available, they are at a premium price point.

Other options include-

  • The Westin Anaheim Hotel by Marriott-
    • This is the easiest walking distance to the Grand Californian.
  • Any other hotels at the Anaheim Convention Center-
    • These are still very close by, and are typically a better value than hotels located directly next to the theme park entrance.

We know most of our guests will likely drive home rather than staying the night. If you have any questions about local hotels or possible deals for stays at Disneyland operated hotels, please feel free to reach out to us.
